The Oxford Transnational and Global History Seminar is inviting submissions for a postgraduate conference, Saturday 25 June, 2022. The conference will be held in person by the Oxford History Faculty.

The ERC AGRELITA invites papers on the topic of “The Invention of Greek origins in the textual and visual cultures of pre-modern Europe (1100-1600)” for its workshops to be held on 15th and 16th June 2023.

Ideal papers will interpret in a new and critical way the phenomenon of witch hunts, with particular emphasis on issues related to infamy, scapegoating, ignominy, violence, sexual behavior, sabbaths, legal proceedings, beliefs, folklore, hallucinations, therapeutic magic, medicine, and gender discrimination.

The Medieval and Renaissance Graduate Interdisciplinary Network (MARGIN) is pleased to announce a call for papers for the 2022 MARGIN Symposium on Friday, May 6th, to be held virtually (via Zoom). 

The fifth Aberystwyth Medieval Conference will explore strategies for uniting and dividing medieval communities, how those writing about the past helped to construct – or to overcome – borders between communities, and how their visions of communal identities may have shaped, and may in turn have been shaped by, the construction of medieval polities.
