indexThe Victoria and Albert Museum is seeking to appoint a fixed term, full-time postdoctoral fellow in association with the Pilot Project for a V&A Research Institute. The Project is generously supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The Project is designed to experiment with new models of collaborative, cross-disciplinary object-based research, providing a strong base for the establishment of the V&A Research Institute. The fellow will be based in the V&A Research Department and be expected to participate in the vibrant research culture across the Museum. Managed by the Director and Head of Collections, with support from the Head of Research and the Head of Postgraduate Programme, the fellow will take a leading role in the running of the Pilot Project. This will include organising a series of collaborative research workshops and the concluding forum; contributing to the research undertaken by the project team; co-editing the subsequent publication and developing digital research outputs.
